Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will provide essential support to healthcare professionals in a hospital setting. Your primary responsibilities will include patient care, medical administrative support, and basic life support. Duties: - Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations and procedures - Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse - Prepare patients for medical tests and procedures - Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals - Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for testing - Provide patient education on medications, procedures, and self-care techniques - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records - Schedule appointments and coordinate patient referrals - Ensure the cleanliness and organization of examination rooms Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Completion of a Medical Assistant program - Basic life support (BLS) certification - Strong patient service skills with a caring and empathetic demeanor - Knowledge of medical administrative procedures and systems - Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology - Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems - Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Preferred Skills: - Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting - Knowledge of X-Ray procedures We offer competitive pay based on experience and qualifications.
